Malaysia Food Festival 2025 (MASFEST 2025) in Bristol

Our town planner, Aliff Nurhaqeem, recently attended the Malaysia Food Festival 2025 (MASFEST 2025) in Bristol, held at Redland Church on 15 February 2025. Organized by MCS Bristol and sponsored by Red Bristol, the event brought together the Malaysian community and friends to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Malaysia.
The festival featured captivating performances, including the Dikir Puteri dance by Puteri Gunung Brandon, an energetic Lion Dance by Liondance UOB, and a special musical performance by Beng and The Beats.
A variety of Malaysian vendors showcased their signature dishes, offering an authentic taste of home. Among them were:
🍛 Malaysian Kitchen UK – Nasi Lemak, Ayam Rendang, Roti Jala and Satay
🍽️ D’Rasa – Nasi Kerabu & Nasi Dagang
🥢 Dapur AJ – Fried Mee & Curry Mee
🍛 Nasi Kandar Mydin Ali – Complete Nasi Kandar Set
🥟 Kampung Bites London – Currypuffs
🍔 Burgembiraaa – Malaysian-style Burgers
☕ MCS Bistro
Events like this play a crucial role in fostering a deep appreciation for Malaysian culture, especially for Malaysians who are working or studying in Bristol. We hope to see more of such initiatives in the future, strengthening our community and keeping our traditions alive.
