8 August 2025 – Our town planner, Aliff Nurhaqeem, recently had the privilege of attending the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta at Ashton Court, Bristol. This celebrated annual festival, held from 8 to 10 August 2025. It’s a free event that brings more than 100 hot air balloons to the skies each day, with mass ascents at dawn and dusk, and enchanting Nightglow displays illuminating the evening in mesmerizing harmony with music.
The Fiesta also offers immersive experiences such as “In the Clouds,” where visitors can step into a cold inflated balloon to feel what it’s like to be aloft.
